Rinderwurst is another old world sausage when there was no room for waste. Back in the day, one would boil up all the left over bones with the little meat scraps left on the bones. Then the meat would be pulled off the bones, ground up, and spices and oats would be added to the mixture with some broth. Our homemade Rinderwurst mimics this process to provide the old world flavor to today's pallet.
Rinderwurst is a fully cooked beef ring sausage with the traditional recipe using oatmeal and allspice. Just fry up and serve with bread and potatoes for a delicious meal!
