Leg of Lamb

A leg of lamb is taken from either hind leg of the animal.  It is typically roasted in the oven, and if you get a larger leg, you can ask for the shank bone to be cracked so it will fit easily in a baking pan.  Mint and rosemary are great spices to use when cooking a leg of lamb!

A leg of lamb can be ordered from 4 to 9 pound pieces.
